# Grant student accommodations

> Accommodations allow instructors to mark certain students exempt from high pressure aspects of a course, such as due dates. Accommodations can help students complete coursework and succeed where they might otherwise be at a disadvantage.

You only set it once and it applies the settings to all the studnet's assessments. **Percentages:**

- 5 min per hour = 9%
- 10 min per hour = 17%
- 15 min per hour = 25%

Groups

If a student in the group receives accommodations, then the group will also receive the additional time allowed.
