### Improved rubric usability when overriding grades
> Instructors can now also adjust the rubric calculated grade for individual attempts. Grades entered in the rubric grade pill update the attempt grade immediately.
>

### Track Announcement engagement by student
> Instructors can now check which announcements a student has read or not read on the new Announcements tab of the Student Overview page.
> The Announcements tab complements existing announcement engagement data by adding a student-level view and helps instructors identify students who may have missed important course communications.
>

This is displayed on the Gradebook per student. Follow these steps:
1. Click on Gradebook
2. Click on Students
3. Search for the student name
4. Click on the student name

### Provide answer-level feedback for multiple choice and multiple answer questions
> Instructors can now add feedback for each answer option in multiple choice and multiple answer questions. This helps students understand why each choice is correct or incorrect after an attempt is submitted.
>
When you create the multiple choice or multiple answer question, you need to switch on the Option Feedback to see the feedback boxes below each answer option. For example:

### Lock specific answer options in a fixed position in Multiple Choice and Answer Questions (e.g "None of the Above" always at the bottom)

:::(Error) (Where do I set this up?)
Take note that you will first create your questions in the Question Bank. You will only be able to lock the options when you set the test and you selected the randomise answer options setting.
:::

Follow these steps:
1. Create the questions in the [Question Banks](/v1/docs/question-banks){target=`_blank`}.
2. [Create the test](/v1/docs/create-test){target=`_blank`}.
3. Add the questions to the test.
4. Access the test settings.
5. Select the tick box for Randomise answers.

6. We want to now edit those questions which has a None of the above or All of the above as an answer option. If you added it in a Question Pool, you will view the questions and then edit the question on the three dots. Otherwise you will just select the three dots.
![mcq_lock_option2](https://cdn.document360.io/8ea693b1-555d-4973-acf4-f29e9965c563/Images/Documentation/mcq_lock_option2.png){height="" width=""}

7. Select the three dots.
8. Click on Edit/Regrade

![mcq_lock_option3](https://cdn.document360.io/8ea693b1-555d-4973-acf4-f29e9965c563/Images/Documentation/mcq_lock_option3.png){height="" width=""}

9. Click on the open lock to close it so that that option will remain in that position and only the other options will randomise.
![mcq_lock_option4](https://cdn.document360.io/8ea693b1-555d-4973-acf4-f29e9965c563/Images/Documentation/mcq_lock_option4.png){height="" width=""}
10. Click on Save.

:::(Internal) (Whenever we get better anonymous grading options)

### Gradebook: Anonymous grading by question
> We extended support for anonymous grading of tests in Flexible Grading. Instructors can now grade anonymous by question in addition to grading anonymously by student.
> When grading anonymous test submissions in Question View, the interface replaces the student name, avatar, and ID with an anonymous identifier and a blank avatar. All functionality available when grading non‑anonymous submissions by question is also available when grading anonymously.
