# Submit on behalf of a student

When a student could not submit for whatever reason, the lecturer may submit on behalf of the student. Follow the steps on the [Turnitin help page](https://help.turnitin.com/feedback-studio/lti/instructor/creating-and-managing-assignment/submitting-on-behalf-of-student.htm).
