Submission Guidelines for Assessments in QuestUP

This Document outlines the timelines and contact details for assessments conducted via QuestUP in the university's computer-based testing laboratories. Timely and accurate preparation is critical to maintaining a smooth process and upholding academic integrity. This should be read in conjunction with the Computer-Based Testing Roles and Responsibilities (S4703/22) document.

Computer Lab Booking

All Academic Departments	Computer lab bookings	At least 1 month in advance
All Academic Departments	Cancellation of Computer lab bookings	At the latest 2 working days before the scheduled booking

Create QuestUP Assessments

Type of User	Activity Required	EI Submission Timeline
EI Dependent Academic	Create & quality assure questions	At least 7 working days before assessment
Semi-autonomous Academic	Create & quality assure questions, Add questions*	At least 4 working days before assessment
Autonomous Academic	Create & quality assure questions, Add questions*, Set and Schedule the assessment	At least 2 working days before assessment

*Format for Question Submission to EI

Questions must be finalized, moderated, and language edited.
Submit questions in the correct Excel format, which must be password-protected.
Passwords must be communicated to EI via separate email or telephone call.
Hotspot and Drag-and-drop questions require a password-protected MS Word document.
