Plan your Gradebook setup using the assessment table in your Study Guide.
Include a grade category column in the assessment table in your Study Guide. This provides a clear reference when setting up the Gradebook and helps ensure that every assessment is assigned to the correct category.
The table could include:
- assessment name;
- mark allocation;
- contribution to the Semester Mark/Current Grade;
- contribution to the Final Mark;
- grade category; and
- the calculation or total in which the assessment must be included.
This alignment makes the Gradebook easier to set up, review and troubleshoot.
