DATE & TIME OF THE EXAMINATION
Date: Day of the week, date (confirm this date on UP Portal).
Venue
Time Arrival time at the venue, Time of the examination, as well as time allocation to specific parts of the examination (if applicable).
FORMAT
State clearly
- if the exam is open/closed book.
- Total marks and how marks are allocated. If minimum pass rates apply to specific sections of an exam, it should be clearly stated.
- the assessment system that will be used, e.g. clickUP, QuestUP, Numbas, etc., and how students should access the examination link.
- how the assessment will be structured and the time allocation for each section of the examination, e.g. 2 hours for Essay questions via Turnitin, 30 minutes for Objective assessment questions, etc.
REQUIREMENTS DURING THE EXAMINATION
State what tools a student will need to complete the assessment, e.g. stationary, calculator, etc.
IF YOU MISS THE EXAMINATION
Provide information on how students should upload the relevant documentation on the UP Student Portal if the exam is missed with a valid reason.
AFTER THE EXAM
Provide information on
- when final marks will be released on the UP Portal. These marks are published by Faculty Administration.
- when and how perusal of the examination paper will take place.
- who to contact for examination queries.
- where final marks can be viewed: UP Student Portal under "View Current Enrollment/Results" (NOT THE ACADEMIC RECORD). Lecturers, tutors, and administrative staff are not allowed to communicate any marks.
SUPPLEMENTARY/SPECIAL EXAM
Provide information on where students can access information on the Supplementary/Special exams.
