Exam Preparation

  • Group all the information and tools that you will use for an examination into one Exam Learning Module or Exam Content Folder.

    1. Create an "Exam pack" with information in an Ultra Document for students available before the exam starts. Examples of what to include are available for on-campus and off-campus examinations.
    2. Group your examination links within a folder and put release conditions on this folder to open only on the date and time the examination starts.
    3. When you create your tool links (Test, Assignment, Turnitin), add the due date to the tool you will use.
    4. If you require specific release conditions for a tool (e.g. per group, or specific time to release) use the release conditions on the tool itself as well.
  • Try to keep the release conditions as simple as possible.

  • Document your release conditions for quick troubleshooting if necessary.
