Article summary

  1. Create your Turnitin assignment as usual.
  2. Use these settings to prevent the marks from showing to the students in clickUP Ultra:
    • Set the Feedback Release Date to a date after your module is finished.
    • Open Optional Settings
    • Allow late submissions: Refer to your faculty guidelines on examinations to guide whether you allow late submissions or not. Only students with no submission will be allowed to submit late.
    • Set the Grade Category to Exam (To find the grade category, click on the ellipsis next to the name of the Turnitin assignment that you created, choose Edit and then set the Grade Category).
Note
  • Turnitin allows students to submit multiple times until the Due date is reached.
  • Do NOT delete students' Turnitin attempts, as this will make it impossible to investigate the submission. Students do NOT receive an email receipt after submitting their Turnitin assignments. Instead, the receipt is stored in the Turnitin Assignment inbox, where they can download it. If their attempt is deleted, there will be no proof of the submission.
