Messages allows you to send Messages to all course members, all instructors, all students or individual student/s.
The number of new messages will be indicated next to the Messages tab:
- Only lecturers can post messages, students cannot reply.
- You can send messages from:
- Messages tab
- Base Navigation
- Gradebook
- Groups
- Progress
- Student analytics
- Mobile app
Good practice
- Lead with the most important information because messages do not have subject lines. Use the options in the editor to format your text.
- Messages only display inside clickUP. If you want to send the message as an email, tick the option to Send an email copy to recipients.
- If you need to send messages to a specific group inside your course, do it from the Groups tab.
