What is the correct file format for uploading marks from Excel to avoid errors?
There isn't an Excel format that you can create manually. The best way is to follow these steps:
- Download the Gradebook file.
Tip
Select only the columns that you want to update/amend to download.
- Copy the downloaded Excel file to a place on your computer where you will be able to access it from in the future.
- Open the Excel file.
- Add/amend the grades in the applicable gradable item column.
Important step for success
- SAVE the file. Do not SAVE AS - that will break your upload file!
- Upload the file to the Gradebook.
